Part of NFL Picks

I went 11-3 last week. That puts me at 92-52 for the season. For a comparison, check out the "experts" over at ESPN.

Here are my picks for the NFL's Week 11:

*THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13*

RJ's Game Of The Week: New York Jets 6-3 at New England 6-3 - 8:15 PM (Line: New England by 3)

The Jets have the number three scoring offense in the league. The Patriots are 4-1 at home.

RJ's Pick: New England by 7

*SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16*

Denver 5-4 at Atlanta 6-3 - 1:00 PM (Line: Atlanta by 6)

The Broncos are in first place in the AFC West, despite having one of the worst defenses in the league. The Falcons are undefeated at home.

RJ's Pick: Atlanta by 10

Philadelphia 5-4 at Cincinnati 1-8 - 1:00 PM (Line: Philadelphia by 9)

The Eagles have the fourth ranked offense in terms of points scored per game. The Bengals are next to last in points scored per game.

RJ's Pick: Philadelphia by 15

Chicago 5-4 at Green Bay 4-5 - 1:00 PM (Line: Green Bay by 5.5)

The Bears are 3-0 against division rivals this year. The Packers have dropped two straight.

RJ's Pick: Chicago by 3

Houston 3-6 at Indianapolis 5-4 - 1:00 PM (Line: Indianapolis by 9)

The Texans are allowing more than 28 points per game, worst in the AFC. The Colts have won two in a row.

RJ's Pick: Indianapolis by 4

New Orleans 4-5 at Kansas City 1-8 - 1:00 PM (Line: New Orleans by 4.5)

The Saints are the only NFC South team with a losing record. The Chiefs have lost five straight.

RJ's Pick: New Orleans by 1

Oakland 2-7 at Miami 5-4 - 1:00 PM (Line: Miami by 10.5)

The Raiders are averaging a league-worst 12.6 points scored per game. The Dolphins have won three in a row.

RJ's Pick: Miami by 6

Baltimore 6-3 at New York Giants 8-1 - 1:00 PM (Line: New York Giants by 6.5)

The Ravens are allowing just 258 yards per game, second fewest in the NFL. The Super Bowl champion Giants have won four straight, and are undefeated at home.

RJ's Pick: New York Giants by 2

Minnesota 5-4 at Tampa Bay 6-3 - 1:00 PM (Line: Tampa Bay by 4)

#2 — November 13, 2008 @ 14:27PM — Dave

You claim to be 11-3 for week 10. I went back and compared actual scores to your picks. I've got you at 8-6 using the speads. Could you please explain your rational for claiming 11-3. thanks

#3 — November 13, 2008 @ 16:54PM — alessandro [URL]

#4 — November 13, 2008 @ 17:12PM — zingzing

jeez, dave, what do you think?

rj, now when's the last time you picked minnesota to win? and what have they been doing? winning! tampa's been winning, but not well. i think they just might get beat this week. at least that's what i hoping.

#5 — November 14, 2008 @ 19:18PM — aluey

Jets, yes. Cassel is getting better though.

Go Miami -10.5

Chiefs +5.5

and over BUFF/CLEV - tough one. 42 pts. Maybe low scoring.

Could be my 3rd 4-0 week

Dave,

He is talking about straight up when he refers to last weeks record. Part of his blog is comparing himself to the espn experts picks who pick straight up, so he is comparing himself to them even though he does go ATS as well.

Atl, Phi, Chi, Ind, KC, Mia, NYG, TB,Car, SF, Pitt, Jack, Wash, Buf, Ari.

RJ made a good call in picking the NE/NYJ game as the game of the week. Even watching it play by play on nfl.com was exciting.

#9 — November 15, 2008 @ 22:02PM — A1johnny

Last week, I changed a couple of picks in my Simplysportsware.com office NFL pool, which both won. I ended up 12 & 2 and lost the week to someone that picked Den Thursday night and beat me. I would have won $70.00 for the week but FU*#@&* Cleveland couldn't hold their hugh lead to win that game. The teams I changed to Tenn and NYG.

I also went with the Jets and thought Ooooh Crap, they are going to lose just like Clev did last week but with the luck of the coin toss, I got my first win in week 11

Week 11 pic's straight up

NYJ
ATL
MIA
NYG
TB
Ten
CAR
GB
PHI
NO
IND
AZ
SF
PIT tough pick due to being a charger fan.
DAL
CLE

I am currently 94 - 51 staight up. Tied for 7th place in my simplysportsware.com office pool.

Good Luck to all this week.

#10 — November 15, 2008 @ 22:39PM — suicidepool

I am not sure who to pick for my suicide pool for week 11. I have already used the Panthers, so the other 2 options are the Indy game or the DOlphins game. I don't know who's more promising.

#11 — November 15, 2008 @ 22:46PM — suicide pool

I am one of three people who are left in the suicide pool that started with 50 people. This is critical. COlts game...? Dolphins game...?

#12 — November 16, 2008 @ 08:44AM — Adam [URL]

I had a good 10-4 week last week, bringing me up to 87-57. That leaves me in the espn expert pack, but not near enough the top as I once was.

I already picked and won my Jets pick (on week 10's page because I couldn't find the link to this week).

Here it goes for the rest of the games.

Falcons
Eagles
Packers
Colts
Cheifs
Dolphins
Giants
Bucs
Carolina
49ers
My ever under performing Seahawks (I'm just not ready to go Pete Rose yet)
Titans
Steelers
Redskins
Browns

#13 — November 16, 2008 @ 09:05AM — Richard

I think there is going to be an upset this week...
I'm thinking if J-ville plays smart they pull the upset with a last minute field goal
