Welcome to Euroscore, BC Magazine's source for European football news and analysis. Here's a round-up of scores around the continent from November 8-10, 2008:

England

Chelsea and Liverpool are joint top of the Premiership with 29 points. Arsenal trail six points behind, whilst last season’s Champions Manchester United are 4th on 21. The two met at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium with the home side beating Manchester United 2-1.

Aston Villa stay 5th despite losing at home 1-2 to Middlesbrough. Chelsea won 2-0 at Blackburn Rovers with both goals coming from French International striker Nicolas Anelka who is now the Premiership's leading scorer. Liverpool kept up their challenge at the top by beating newly promoted West Bromwich Albion 3-0.

At the bottom West Bromwich Albion have 11 points, with Sunderland and Newcastle United, who lost 2-1 at Fulham, joining them in the relegation zone. Tottenham Hotspur’s revival under new manager Harry Redknapp continued with an impressive 2-1 win at Manchester City, lifting them clear of the bottom three.

Spain

There was a thriller at the Bernabau which saw Real Madrid come back three times to finally beat Malaga 4-3. Argentinian striker Higuain scoring all 4. That feat was matched by Barcelona’s Samuel Eto’o who scored 4 in a convincing 6-0 home win over Vallodolid. There were goals a plenty elsewhere as well with Real Betis winning 4-2 at Numancia and Mallorca and Athletic Bilbao sharing 6 in a 3-3 draw.

Free scoring Barcelona stay top on 25, with Villareal on 24, and Real Madrid 23. At the bottom Osasuna are stuck on 5 having drawn at home to Atletico Madrid.

Italy

Champions Internazionale are top on 24 after a 1-0 home win at the San Siro against Udinese. Napoli are 2nd following their 2-0 win over Sampdoria. AC Milan could only draw 1-1 at Lecce and stay behind Lazio who are 3rd.
