Drake and Josh Reunite For Ultimate Christmas Movie Premiering December 5th

After Drake’s shenanigans cause Josh to be put in jail, Drake and Josh must reunite once again and give a girl and her foster family the best Christmas ever in order to stay out of jail for good. Drake (Bell) and Josh (Peck)’s ultimate Christmas two-hour movie is scheduled to air on Nickelodeon December 5th from 8 to 10 PM ET. Both Drake and Josh were producers for this movie.

The movie starts when Drake and Josh are playing Santa and Santa’s sack of toys when Mary Alice—a foster child played by Bailee Madison—asks Drake to give her and her family the best Christmas ever. He agrees, thinking little of it. After Josh lands in jail, Drake is forced to break him out. But in order to stay out of jail, Drake must give that little girl the best Christmas ever. But it gets kind of hard with a parole officer (David Pressman) who just wants them to fail. Can Drake and Josh stay out of jail or will they spend the rest of their lives in prison? Monkeys are involved.

There are many old regulars and some new faces. Drake and Josh’s devilish sister is along for the ride, Megan (Miranda Cosgrove). Others regulars include: Crazy Steve (Jerry Trainor, who now stars with Miranda on Nickelodeon’s iCarly), Josh’s girlfriend Mindy (Allison Scagliotti), Helen (Yvette Nicole Brown), and the nerds (Scott Halberstadt and Alec Medlock).

Drake Bell also did some music for this movie. He sang both “Jingle Bells” and “12 Nights of Christmas.” I was very impressed with the singing and I would actually consider buying the songs off iTunes if they are in fact available. Drake Bell is an excellent musician. I’m glad they had him behind the microphone in this movie.

The movie was very well-done. The plot was interesting, very well written. I was also very impressed with the acting, especially from the two leads, Drake Bell and Josh Peck. The two guys really work well together. They have good chemistry together and really play off of each other ‘s emotions well.

I would definitely recommend seeing this movie. Drake and Josh had done previous movies (Drake and Josh: Really Big Shrimp and Drake and Josh Go Hollywood) and I thought this one was the best. Very funny, very amusing. It was a nice addition to the Drake and Josh
